Team Aruba Shares Vacation Paradise with Baltimore Area Fans
Team Aruba is always easy to spot in their brightly colored uniforms that match their eye-catching Pro Stock Mustang. The team debuted new uniforms this year and recently presented a commemorative one to partners Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) and Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA). Together, Team Aruba, AAA and ATA work to promote ‘The One Happy Island’ and showcase all Aruba has to offer to travelers worldwide.
Trevor Eman, pilot of the Aruba.com Mustang, and the rest of Team Aruba have arrived at Maryland International Raceway for this weekend’s IHRA President’s Cup Nationals where they will continue their promotional efforts through their 200+ MPH Mustang.
“We are looking forward to this weekend in Budds Creek to be able to talk to all the fans about Aruba and our Airport,” Eman emphasized. “As a matter of fact, where we are here in Maryland is very close to the Baltimore airport, which has direct flights to Aruba. Many people may not know that access to a paradise vacation is that easy. We plan to let the fans in attendance here know that Aruba is a short flight away.
“We enjoyed our recent visits to the Aruba Tourism Authority and Aruba Airport Authority,” he continued. “Presenting them with a uniform was a small way of extending our gratitude for their partnership in our efforts. We are very grateful for their support and hope they tune in to watch us this weekend through the Live Feed.”
Qualifying begins Friday evening with two rounds. A final qualifying session will be held Saturday afternoon with eliminations to follow. The entire event will be broadcast live at MotorManiaTV.com. Eman currently sits third in IHRA Championship Points standings and will be looking for a win to advance his standings as the series nears the halfway point in the season.
