PAUL STANLEY ART – RAISING FUNDS FOR THE NATIONAL GALLERY OF THE CAYMAN ISLANDS
For more than 30 years, Paul Stanley has reigned supreme as one of the single-most recognizable front men in the history of rock and roll. He continues to be the chief songwriter, driving force and unwavering voice of KISS. Hosted by The Mill Cayman, Paul Stanley now takes the stage, for the first time ever in the Cayman Islands, with a somewhat surprising configuration, a “soul music revue” performing 60s and 70s classics as a benefit in support of the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands. KISS drummer Eric Singer is also in the group.
Stanley returned to his passion for painting ten years ago by creating portraits and abstracts that are emotionally-charged compositions. The scale is huge, the paint laid on thickly; the colors have been chosen in order to generate a powerfully physical and emotional effect. He aims to maximize the direct, physical impact of his paintings through scale, texture, color and simplicity of images.
