Le Taitu St. Martin

Located on the road to the old hotel Mont Vernon, in French Cul de Sac, Le Taitu offers Creole and French cuisine at attractive prices. This welcoming, unique restaurant has been open since 1993 and is made up of terraces that are open to any passing breezes.
Their menu is set according to the seasons and includes tasty dishes like fricassee of lambis (conch stew in a red spicy sauce), fricassee of chatrou (octopus in a red spicy sauce), colombo of cabri (goat stew in a spicy curry sauce), chicken Creole, stuffed crab backs, spicy fish fritters, stuffed christophine, to name just a few of the delectable island dishes.
Open for lunch and dinner, closed Sunday. The lunchtime special is $15 with 1 drink + 1 main meal + 1 coffee.
They have received the Certificate of Excellence on Trip Advisor for 2013, 2014, and 2015.
