A Complete Reimagining

The resort’s entire guest room inventory — more than 300 rooms and suites — has been redesigned from the ground up, with calming coastal tones, local artwork, bespoke furniture, private balconies and rainfall showers or soaking tubs. The result is a relaxed, residential “Summer House” feel that captures the easy rhythm of island living, and the renovation was recognised as a finalist in the 2025 SBID Awards for Hotel Bedroom & Suites Design.

Most exciting for families: the resort has introduced its first-ever Family Suites, featuring bunk beds, play nooks and generous storage — a true multi-generational room type that’s still a rarity on the island. Dining: From Anchor & Den to Candlelit Veranda

The Marriott’s culinary scene is a destination in its own right, frequented as much by locals as by guests.

Anchor & Den, the resort’s innovative all-day restaurant and lounge in the Great Room, remains one of Seven Mile Beach’s most convivial gathering spots — a cool, airy, light-filled space where you can grab a quick bite, curl up with a book or settle in with family and friends. The globally inspired menu has produced genuine local favourites, including the Shrimp Popcorn Sushi Roll, Seafood Black Rice Paella and the irresistible Seven Mile Fudge Cake, backed by a juice bar, creperie, raw and sushi bar and handcrafted cocktails. Themed nights run throughout the week — from Basque tapas evenings to Rockin’ Ramen Fridays with a live DJ — alongside the whimsical, Alice in Wonderland-inspired Mad Tea Party on select Saturdays and the Wanderlust Brunch every Sunday. Reservations are strongly recommended for dinner and brunch.

Veranda delivers the resort’s most romantic setting: alfresco lunch and dinner in a vintage-inspired, bohemian-chic space with Caribbean views, focused on grilled seafood and island flavours. The Sunday night fish dinner is a favourite with regulars.

Bar Vista, the poolside bar and restaurant, is the ultimate summer spot for refreshing cocktails and nibbles as the sun goes down — every drink made from scratch, with locally crafted gin and rum blended into signature recipes.

Botanika Union Spa

When you need a break from the Grand Cayman sunshine, the resort’s spa, Botanika Union, offers a curated, ever-changing menu of holistic treatments — intuitive facials and massages using organic Naturopathica products, plus exclusive manicures, pedicures and foot soaks. Beach yoga and wellness sessions round out the offering.

Life by the Sea

The Marriott’s signature Summer House programming celebrates the island’s carefree spirit: evening beach bonfires with s’mores, paddleboard yoga, guided snorkelling, and rotating daily treats from cotton candy to the ice cream bar. The resort fee earns its keep here, covering bikes, paddleboards, kayaks, snorkel gear, children’s beach and pool toys, a floating trampoline, group yoga classes and even GoPro cameras to capture it all. On-site dive operator Red Sail Sports runs diving, snorkelling, sailing and parasailing excursions straight from the resort.

A major beach restoration completing in 2026 returns a vibrant, sun-kissed shoreline to the property, and in the meantime a complimentary shuttle runs daily to Governor’s Beach (five minutes away) and Public Beach for wide-sand swimming and sunbathing.
