When you’re dining out on vacation with your family you want to be sure that your kids are welcome. Grand Cayman has a ton of great restaurants which cater for everyone and are super family friendly.
Chicken Chicken! Offers a great plate of food for families
Chicken! Chicken! In the West Shore Centre on West Bay Road is a character-filled restaurant with a Caribbean design and rustic charm. Their wood roasted, award-winning chicken menu is absolutely delicious, along with their sides, such as sweet tarragon carrots, garlic ‘n herb potatoes, Caribbean cornbread and buttermilk mash potatoes. Kids will love the congo squares (coconut-caramel ‘killer’ brownies) or even a giant cookie for dessert! Mums and dads can also enjoy a glass of wine or beer with their meal, so everyone is happy!
The Waterfront Urban Diner in Camana Bay is a lovely spot with a nice outdoors area so kids can play while you tuck into their delicious food. In particular, it’s a great location for breakfast, serving up divine dishes such as their cinnamon bun French toast, and classic omelettes complete with ham, mixed sweet peppers, diced tomato, sautéed onions, sliced mushrooms and cheddar cheese.
The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach’s Tortuga Beach Grill & Bar provides a very special evening of delicious food for all the family
If you are looking for a truly authentic Cayman experience then there’s nothing better than a beach barbecue for the entire family. On Friday nights The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach’s Tortuga Beach Grill & Bar provides a very special evening of delicious food, in a relaxed and magical setting. It’s a brilliant place in which to relax and truly soak up the Caribbean-infused atmosphere.
Cayman Creperie is one of those discoveries which will make your vacation, especially if you have kids with you
Cayman Creperie in Bayshore Mall on the George Town harbour front is one of those discoveries which will make your vacation, especially if you have kids with you. Their sweet crêpes are truly delicious – enjoy Bananalicious (bananas, Nutella and caramel), or the Pure Love (sugar, butter and lemon) or savoury like California Dreamin’ (crab, avocado, spinach and cream cheese).
