There is no better place to celebrate the culture and the people of the Turks and Caicos Islands than the Tourist Board’s weekly production of their Fish Fry every Thursday evening. This is not just any ordinary Fish Fry but an extravaganza of local music, talent, singing and dancing — showcasing the best that the Turks and Caicos Islands have to offer.
It is conveniently located next to the Gansevoort Resort in the Lower Bight area of Providenciales. Feel free to arrive by taxi or your own transport any time after 5:30 pm to get the party started, although we do recommend being thereafter 7:30 pm to join in with the famous Junkanoo Parade which is the highlight of this esteemed event. The Junkanoo features local musicians dressed in traditional Caribbean costumes playing everything from drums to whistles and dancing, all the way from the back of the event grounds to the main stage, and of course you can join right in!
